cross save mastery rank not crossing over?

so i merged my playstation account to my pc and my playstation account was a higher MR. so when they say merge is it just items or is everything like ranks cause i was wondering if they are gonna update that at all or not. im just wondering not really complaining about it cause my pc account is MR 13 i can still do things just curious cause all the stuff i lvled wont progress towards my lvl on pc account.

Im no expert, but it sounds like you selected your pc account to be the primary and then merged your playstation account into your pc. If your PC account was the primary than it prioritizes your pc quests and MR. it doesn't just pick whichever is farther.
