Xbox to PC merge name change?

I went through with merging my xbox account over to PC and everything went swimmingly, I don't I lost really a single thing the only issue I have is that my Name or alias has changed from my xbox Alias.

Now I know its not that big of a deal worst case I just have to bite the bullet and change the name for 200p or I could make a support ticket but I was just wondering if this was intended or not?

The 200p name change won’t fix it I tried. 
 

It’s best to hope that DE can fix things on their end.

Just marking this here: I am replying to what is my old xbox forum account, which somehow still exists, from what is my merged account, which still has my xbox gear and progression but I no longer have access my old account name apart from when I play xbox. 

 

When I play xbox, I appear offline and do not receive invites from others due to this.

Same problem, merge my Xbox account with my pc account, select Xbox as Primary, and now I have the PC Alias, instead of the Xbox alias (selected as primary).

Switch(primary), on the PlayStation im my ps4 account name, pc has my pc account's name, and switch is the former name, lol it is very hecking confusing, especially with my clan mates, I really hope this gets fixed soon 😅

(Just kinda wanted to share the news its not just Xbox)
