I only play on PC and as such bought them through steam via the in-game store. Now when trying to equip the items they are recognized as owned however I cannot equip them I just get taken to the purchase screen and get an error saying that I already own it. The Items I bought were POLEARM PHORCYS SKIN HEAVY BLADE TENGOKEN SKIN TWO-HANDED NIKANA ARASHI SKIN HEAVY BLADE ION SKIN LONGSWORD EISEN SKIN I have waited hoping that this was a minor bug that will be fixed, however it seems to be a bigger problem.
