Jade with bright energy colors is near impossible to photograph in Captura while using Glory on High

Recommended Posts

When using a bright energy color in the first or second channel, there is an extremely bright flickering lens flare effect on her belly that completely washes out the rest of the colors and is honestly just hard to look at. From a bit of testing, the only way to mitigate this effect is to use a very dark (dark grays, pure blacks, and deep reds) in the first energy color slot and a subdued bright color (like an deep icy blue) in the second slot. Any bright color in either slot will still result in a visible flickering but does get rid of the lens flare. To replicate this for yourself, throw white/white on her energy colors and use Glory on High in Captura (and then definitely remember to change back your energy colors or you and your squad mates are gonna have a bad time lol).2nFqQQe.jpeg

As you can see, this lens flare and flicker is not present while the scene settings pane is open.
