Ability to infuse the same helminth ability in different ability slots on the same warframe

As of now you can only the same helminth ability in multiple configs but you're unable to give up different abilities for the same helminth, which in most cases is fine but in some cases can limit the type of builds you could make on the same frame

That's a flawed way to look at things, if DE didn't scrap old code and rewrote it from scratch we'd still be playing Warframe as it was when it first launched.
Also it's not like you have access to the source code so how would you know what can and can't be done?

I am not saying it cant be done. I am simply saying that presumable effort to achieve this goal is much higher than profit from end result. If it was not, it would be already done, because it is known since Helminth got introduced and there have been many threads like this one. And yet still, nothing changes. 

There are many much bigger issues that are not resolved simply because of solving them would require completely redefining things. And none of those redefinitions would be profitable for DE, hence it doesnt happen.

Facts. Only fairly recently did we get auto melee swing (last year) and semi/burst trigger type auto-fire (last mainline update), something far removed from what you could've expected from Warframe years ago. Yet here we are. The game's changing, one massive leap at a time, in between what seems to be eternal wait.

Profit profit profit. That's all there was to be read here. And guess what, DE makes massive stonks on forma sales. Updating the helminth system to allow for even more customisation may very well lead to updates in player builds, leaving room for profit to be had on Forma sales and build pages.

Host migration - breaking all the things.

Getting staggered during casting that makes you unable to shoot, casts abilities, use melee or Transference (unstuck doesnt work either).

You just looking at potential results, but forgot about costs. This issue is pretty niche, it affects maybe 1% of the playerbase. Automelee/autofire affects 99%.

There is another similarly niche issue with Excalilbur Umbra cancelling all buffs whenever you Transference, its effects are similar to affecting 1% playerbase and we got Dev on record stating that it will not be fixed and why exactly it will not be fixed.
