Jackal Cold Procs slowing down fight

Opted to help out a friend with running The Jackal boss fight on Venus, but during the Parazon action stage, we were getting Cold Procs from what I can hazard was their Taxon's Artax weapon.
After the Parazon interaction, but before his period where invulnerability frames finish, its actions became delayed.
This was initially noted when I ran with Frost Prime, but continued again with Styanax equipped and no weapons/companions that could inflict a Cold Element Proc.

Unsure how common an issue this is, but hadn't seen this prior to the Cold Proc changes from the Jade Shadow update.

It has always been the case. My workaround is to just leave :)
