Issues with mag's crush ability.

Mag's 4th ability, crush, does not apply its effects instantly after cast. Instead, it's applied after some time times number of enemies in range. So the more enemies are in range, the longer these effects take time.

The effects are:

  • Shields gained. They are recieved in 3 procs, and the time between procs is increased with more enemies around.
  • Armour stripped with Fracturing Crush augment. It's done after the ability's actual time is done, so with many enemies around you may need to wait for 5s until they are stripped.
  • Prevention of use of other abilities and melee. This is very, very bad if you have a lot of enemies around, and with 40 enemies the delay is about 4 seconds after the casting animation finishes.

If you have few enemies in range, casting animation is often longer than the effect application time, and the ability behaves normally. But with 20+ enemies in range(which is very common on steel path missions) inability to use melee or other abilities severely impacts the gameplay.


Also the armour strip delay might be the reason why some thraxes gain armour strip immunity(if you cast crush while they recapture an exo).

Edit: it also seems that fps affects the application time, with higher fps reducing said time.
