Brief Respite / Augur Mods (shield gating issue)

Can we get some info on this? Is DE even aware of it? I dont know what exactly causes it but in most of the missions these mods don't work at all. Usually i noticed they dont work when you are not a host of the mission. If you are playing solo - it always works. If you are a host - it also works (as far as i tested it out). And what i mean by "doesnt work" is literally it does not work at all. You use an ability and it will give you nothing , 0 shields and then people just die without even realizing its their shield gating mods not really workin. In a sense Brief Respite is totally useless at this point. Augur mods are atleast somewhat ok cuz they give secondary bonuses (like duration, range, strength etc..) 

Would really be amazing to know if you guys at DE are aware of it and maybe are trying to fix it. Cuz im literally dying to know
