In Between: The Entrance and Exodus of the Void and other realms. "This Island Harbors One Single Knight... A Knight that knew of the Indifference... Another Tenno from within Duviri. But which chose the path of Vengeance... And succeeded to pull away from the reoccuring dream. He stood up, trained everyday to become strong enough." > Crafted his Armor sets bit by bit. > And Eventually went out on a quest to lure in the Indifference and fight it... > It was a fierce fight, The Void Devil got pushed back... The Void Tree where the Hero's Soul rests... is on an Island... Made up from the Scene of where Excalibur Umbra died as well... But this Island that is made up from that same place, Is a paradoxal event. Meaning that on the place the fight of the Hero Knight & The Void Devil took place aren't the same as the place where Excalibur Umbra died. > The Scene is slightly Changed up > The Sword of Excalibur isn't there, > The parts of umbra laying around, aren't there > Tombstones are gone > Section is seperated from the entrance of that spot > Floats within a Black sky full of black mist : Because it is the 'In Between' > The Hero had found that place by using a Void Portal that was hidden within Duviri... (which is one of the other Void Portal orokin devices that was put there by Dr. Entrati) > The Hero had slaughtered many many Liminus, to gain the Void Code to activate that device, because it wasn't left open this time around... ---------------------------- Once we get there within that Section where we (as player) have to fight the Void Devil. We Won't be able to see the Void Devil in full. Yet what we do see: A shadowy figure... As big as Excalibur... Yet its appearance is vulgar and almost devilish. We see only its Black Silhouette. Engulved in GREAT DARKNESS, As If Dark Smoke, fully engulved and unpenetratable (even by lowering our Visual Effects Intensity). We won't be able to see what it looks like. Only its outer shades... Since this is within the past, even from before we as Operator and Drifter, freed ourselves from the Grasp of Lohk within Duviri. ---------------------------- We fight it and eventually lose, because the Void Devil damages us with tremendous power that we (as that Knight Hero) cannot defend ourselves against. ______ Once we've lost: > "The Knight lost... But his willpower was still there... Somehow his will still exists within the clouds and the air of this island..." - He was doomed to be lost. For Facing the Void Devil... + But his will to save and free the horror from its own pain is what kept the Knight Hero alive: "He thought of Hope within... A knight that thought outside of the box, neglecting all norms and morals..." "Something within the Void Devil made the Void Devil Grief..." - Once the Void Devil had rained down the weapons and spears of the Hero onto himself with the Void Devil's Ability.... *The Hero kneeled down... broken in blood...* *Whispers appeared of the wish to save the Void Devil...* - These whisperes still haunt the Void Devil till this day. Unable to bring back life to that Hero... *Once the Void Devil had pierced the Hero (knight), the Void Devil kneeled down in the same way, looking upwards...* "To have lost a possible Companion... Something The Void Devil lost, a long long time ago..." (Void Devil whispers: "What did I lose...?") *A LOUD GRIEFING WHISPERING & AIRY LIKE EXHALE WAS HEARD FROM WITHIN THE VOID DEVIL* *Translucent red glowing tears were seen falling out from the Void Devil's eye's while exhaling* *The Knight Hero turned into a Void Tree while the Void Devil Griefs...* "Now this Hero's Knight to be remembered for his wish..." ('Hero': In this sentence points out towards Margulis which had sacrificed herself in the past...Which within that quest we do not tell the player. For them to figure this link out of the lore...) _____________________________ SCENE ENDS... _____________________________ Link to the Past where the Void Devil became to Exist...: _____________________________ _____________________________ _____________________________ QUEST COMPLETION UNLOCKS: + PORTAL TO THIS 'IN BETWEEN' Where we'll have to face the Grasp of Lohk... + PORTAL APPEARS ON DIFFERENT SPOTS IN DUVIRI EACH TIME WE LOAD IN > Once Entering the Realm of the 'In Between' + There will be a bossfight against that Void Tree (which will be bigger, because it harbors the vessel of that Hero Knight, it needs to fit in lorewise), + Void Tree will attack us, to prevent us from recovering its relics (which we have to crack open within relic missions, can only be done in Omni Fissure missions on SOLO, LUA - CONJUNCTION SURVIVAL. Void Tree Attacks: 1th Ability. 'Root of Chaos': Void Tree will whip up its roots and stomp them into the floor to let its roots shoot up out of the spot where we are standing (bit like the Deimos Jugulus attack) 2nd Ability. 'Thousand Whips': Void Tree performs a charged up ferocious attack with its roots, whipping its roots towards the player at a fast rate, to survive this attack: >>PLAYER HAS TO USE BLOCK BUTTON<<, (WHICH IS GETTING EXPLAINED HOW TO CHECK THE BUTTON FOR THAT KEYBINDING BEFORE THE QUEST STARTS) 3rd Ability. 'Breath of the Void' (Void Devil's Blessing): Void Tree performs a Void Storm attack surrounding and protecting the tree with Void Clusters that shoot out tiny Void Star Particles... 4th Ability. 'Hero's Wish': Void Tree let's the Vessel of the Hero Knight out and it will fight us ): Hero Knight's 1st ability: same as the Void Tree Hero Knight's 2nd ability: same as the Void Tree Hero Knight's 3rd ability: same as the Void Tree Hero Knight's 4th Ability: 'Hero's Charge': > Hero gains: slight increase in: + Increased Attack Speed, + Increased Parkour Velocity, + Increased Melee DMG, + Increased DMG resistance, + Increased Health Regeneration, + Increased Shield Regeneration + Increased Overguard (800-1200) _______________________________________ Warframe Weapon Set: Soulmourn & Exodus Hero's Blade: 'Soulmourn' : Status Attribute: Heat & Void (Seperately Obtainable Item through Drop Relic From this Bossfight) + Special) 'Heavy Slams' on the ground make the floor rupture 10m ahead (bit like Frost's attack) (can be increased with melee range mods) --------- Hero's Shield: 'Exodus' : Guaranteed Impact Status on 'Shield Bash': (Seperately Obtainable Item through Drop Relic From this Bossfight) + Special) 'Shield Bash' (Heavy attack), holds Hero's Blade pointed to the front while its held on the side of the shield rushing for 6m ahead within 0.5s. Heavy attack charge rate applies. + Blocking Angle: 30 or 111 degrees: ('Void Devil's Mark' Is an Augment Mod that can be applied, which increases the Shields Blocking angle from 30 degrees to 111 degrees (since the knight was defeated by the Void Devil, the shield has lost its power, but thanks to the Blessing of the Void Devil it increased to an powering 111 decrees, enhancing the survivability of the Hero Knight) <> Hero Knight, BLOCKS ALMOST ALL NORMAL MELEE ATTACKS, unless stunned by the Radial Howl of Umbra (this because the Hero Knight does understand Umbra's Pain, somehow... This is the heart of the Hero Knight that resonates with the pain of Umbra...) ("Because even within a fallen hero resides...: Love...") Hero Knight Kneels Down instantly, with red tears flowing out of its eyes... (player performs action button) Umbra wipes off the Tears of the Hero Knight with its left hand, while holding right shoulder. And Embraces The Hero Knight, The Hero Knight vaporizes in thin air into white Void Particles, back into the Void Tree... [BOSS BATTLE COMPLETED] ONE OF THE 6 OBTAINABLE RELICS IS OBTAINED (for the 4 parts. either BP, Neuroptics, Chassis, Systems) __________________ __________________ Hero Knight kneels down, after defeat with other frames otherwise: The Hero Knight Gives us his Sword, while kneeled down on two knees... We take it and get to stab the Knights Chest with its own sword. Or Choose to Wipe away its tears in the way Umbra does (Operator: "Umbra learned it from us after all, to accept the pain from within.") > The Hero Knight declines the offer of survival. Because The Hero Knight know it would continue its rampage otherwise now being out of the Void Tree... > The Hero Knight stands on the decision to let its chest be stabbed by his sword, so his Vessel returns inside the Void Tree... Drifter: "The next time we face each other..."
