Weapons Vs Corpus

Ok, I love Damage 2.0. I can finally bring some of the older weapons up to higher levels and the new weapons aren't too bad either. However, I noticed something. Many of the weapons have a lot of Puncture and Slash damage, but very little Impact damage. Because of this, we do not have a lot of weapons that are effective against the corpus. And also, why does the Dera have so much puncture damage? Shouldn't it have more impact since it fires plasma bolts?

Shotguns.  Gorgon.  Most of the Grineer sidearms.

 

Also, magnetic+fire.

 

Dera has so much puncture because it's a Corpus weapon designed to kill Grineer.

Gorgon and Sobek 

 

Dual Vasto and Twin Gremlis ( a bit of everything )

emm Seer and Kraken 

Brakk and Broncos

Things with innate poison are crazy good against crewmen at least. Poison goes through shields so I can 1 shot most corpus with dual ichors.

Impact Magnetic and Fire.

 

If you noticed weapons like the Sobek deal a ton of impact damage.

Mag build with fire kills them even faster.

Toxin, Magnetic and Impact all work nicely vs corpus. So any toxin/electric base dmg weapon will work nicely. 

 

Primary:

Synapse, Lanka, Vectis, Sobek, Boar Prime, Strun Wraith & Vulkar. (Torid in theory as well, but it's often bugged out and not working properly)

Acrid, Seer & Brakk. 

Fragor, Kestrel, Dual Ichor & Prova. (Lecta has issues hitting enemies, so not the best option tbh)
