Game Crashes with "Hardware Failure" Error

Every time I play the 1999 demo, the game starts rapidly dropping fps until it reaches single digits, then crashes with the "Hardware Failure" error. I have diagnosed my RAM and updated my graphics drivers, nothing has worked. I should add I have never received this error before. I have seen the "Out of Memory" error several times, but never this. I can also play the rest of the game just fine, it's the 1999 demo specifically that I have issues with.

I run an NVidia 3050 Laptop GPU, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12500H and 16 GB of RAM, if it helps.

Same here. Every time i reach 89/91 enemies exterminated, game crashes with the same error..
