Glitching back into main world instead of Drifter camp after doing demo during New War

I have been stuck in the New War quest for about 2 weeks now, and unable to complete it due to issues completing the Wild Hunt. Today, when the demo was released, I played it, but when I finished, rather than being back in the Drifter camp as expected, I was back in my orbiter, in my warframe, and able to move around as per normal. The only real difference was that I was unable to access my Communications. I didn't attempt any quests or anything, and instead logged out so as not to cause any problems for my quests, and when I restarted the game, I was back in the Drifter camp as per normal.
