I mean it was even in the patch notes:

 

"Add new setting to disable UI in all screenshots. This happens automatically when hitting screenshot button (Default is F6).  Now players can make their own wallpapers from game/codex/etc! Glamour shots, ready?"

 

I know some people have made some stunning wallpapers using the codex, but I haven't seen much in the way of "personal" pictures. 

 

So.. for those who haven't played / traded with me in game, here is me.

Go to "My pictures" there should be a "Warframe" folder.

Did you hear a camera click? I think when you hear it it means you have just taken a photo.

Check your settings in warframe, There is a "UI in screenshots" setting. I had to change it too.

Oh god. I'm such an idiot, I kept pressing F8 because it looked like F6...

EDIT: The UI is still showing up.

This isnt about steam screenshots, the game has its own screenshot function assigned to F6 which saves a .bpm image in

"You" -> My Pictures -> Warframe

 

Make sure that in your options menu you disable HUD in screenshots

F6 doesn't work either, and apparently steam overrides warframe's original key.

 

Edit: I somehow took a screenshot pre U11, not sure how but eh...
