Dual Weapons Crafting Needs To Change

should they really require 2 of the single version of the weapon to craft, making craft time at least x3 longer (because Tenno need 12 hours to figure out oh to hold one in each hand), at least a bit more then 2x the coast of a single version, because of orokin cells, and inventory slot consuming, or should they just be a single BP with twice the resource cost and crafting time in comparison to the single version?

I think the later is the better option for us and DE.
for us it shortens the craft time by at least 12 hours, saves us at least 20K credits (because Tenno also need to pay to use 2 weapons they already crafted apparently), and saves us some resources.
for DE, it removes the problem with the current system, which is potatos and forma that the dual version dose not inherits, and it will encourage us to invest in each of the versions, as it removes the fear of future dual versions that will require 2 of the single version.

as of now, most players don't really care for single versions, as after a while a dual version shows up, and if you already used a potato/Formas on the single version you'r stuck with crafting 2 new single weapons (unless you are willing to sacrifice the weapon you worked hard on).

TL;DR
Dual weapon crafting needs to change, the current system of at least 3 crafts for a dual weapon and more then x2 the cost is not logical and discourage investment in single versions.

I think it's ok as it is now. With this method, you are forced to have, before the dual, the single version, allowing you to rank it up, earning profile experience on the way, and to test it's own characteristics before the Dual's.

Granted, if you use a potato on the single version you lose it when you make the Dual (The logic here would be that welding 2 weapons it's a different style than only 1, so you must learn to use them from the beginning), and extra cost to "learn how to have a weapon in each hand" it's quite stupid (in this case the solution would be to have only one of the weapons and make the Dual Version's BP cost only as much materials as the single one). But to make the Dual's BP simply cost x2 materials and so, not a good idea. The Duals are supposed to be better than the single version's. Then why keep the previous? Yes, you lose the potato and all, but you get another one with better natural performance. Also, you would use one more Weapon Slot than normal just to keep that Single Version, which not all players can do.
