Do The Penta Grenades Explode On Impact When You Hit Enemies?

I have yet to get it and thought it would be nice to know some about it if I am thinking about getting it.

 

I know people like it and it sounds cool so far, but I'm not entirely sure on some of the details.

It does not. They explode when you right-click (or whatever your zoom button is).

They do not explode on contact but they do damage if you hit them with the nade.

Press mouse button 1 (launch nade) mouse button 2 (boom), So u can place 5 nades at a enemy and have all 5 blow up, or u can just make it explode in mid air. This weapon really allows alot of options of engaging your enemy.

well, this is going to take some getting used to, I liked zooming in with RMB. but DE changed up how accuracy is working, so not caring to line up my shots is probably fine, my accuracy rating still seems to be tanking. guess I could practice in TF2 while the penta is crafting

Zooming doesn't help with the penta due to the heavy arc.  You have to have a good visual while doing high angle shots to get far or deep into a crowd.  Zooming won't help you do ricochet shots either.
