Does Vauban Seem A Little Bit Useless Now That We Don't Have Infested Defense Missions Readily Available?

Well, if we take in count all the times a Vauban in my team made the game lag as hell or crash in the worst case, you may have a point.

 

Nothing related to Infested defense though.

Previously, the only mission I would really use Vauban for was Xini, but now that Xini is Corpus I am much more likely to just use Frost instead. Vauban's greatest strength is his ability to keep infested from reaching the pod, but now that strength doesn't really mean much unless a new infested outbreak starts and one of the missions is Defense. 

Vauban is the best frame for infested defense, but now infested defense missions are only occasionaly available. And even when they are available, the level might be too low for Vauban to be necessary.

 

It's kinda sad really. Vauban used to be one of my most used frames, but now I have almost no reason to use him. 

Vauban you have to remember is a support character not a damage. And I was begging for a CC frame and love him. Bastille, Bastille, Bastille. I use the Vecta mostly and Throw Bastille everywhere and then just Pick off 1 shots. If you throw it far enough away even ranged enemies run right into it like a wall. In the void, I throw them in doorways and sit just out of line of sight so they have to come through the door. He is infinitely useful.

 

He is not useless you just have to know where to place your Bastille and Vortex vs other factions. VS Infested it was really simple, and you need to know the map well and spawn points :)

Vauban to me is still one of the best frames for defense or survival. Find yourself a little niche in survival to hole out in and throw a vortex down at the choke point. Easy kills. Combined with Nekros, you'll rarely have to run out to get air.

Vauban is still one of the most versatile and effective frames in the game. He has a ability for any situation at almost any given moment, can throw them while reloading, and can combine abilities for added effectiveness.

 

This frame is not gonna lose effectiveness unless the frame itself gets nerfed, not the game.

Support frame for sure. I could use another skill than bounce.
