Major Jackal Bug

Currently, no matter what I try, the Jackal is unbeatable.

 

Why?

 

During every conflict, at some random time, I will explode.

 

I will die INSTANTLY, regardless of shields, health, or LoS.

 

This has happened:

1) At the beginning of the fight, before any bomb droppers have been spawned.

2) After the second time he's gone on a knee, still no droppers spawned.

3) After several droppers are spawned, some killed, and all bombs accounted for.

 

Everytime, I have had full shields, and at least 200 HP.  There is no warning, no emote from the Jackal, nothing visible around me.  There is no rhyme or reason behind it.

 

Oh, and I'm not sure if this is supposed to be this way, but the first time I tried Fossa?  It wasn't an assassinate.  It was a Rescue.  It is in my list as completed, but I never killed the Jackal.

Is there supposed to be any sort of emote?  During example #1, I had just dropped him to a knee and was shooting at him.  Nothing was visible on the screen at all.

You will hear it, like a big "POP"; it spawn a circle of grenades around him that will detonate some seconds later.

 

EDIT: And the nades are visible on the ground before they go boom.

Do you play solo? I recommend that you play PUGs for bosses at least. Yes there is an emote for the rockets, he launches them mid battle randomly, sometimes they hit right away, sometimes they "disappear" then strike randomly after.

Thanks for all the replies.  I finally managed to down him (yeah, I'm playing solo right now), though I still couldn't clearly see the grenades.  I've had that problem with all grenades though, it seems.
