Need Help With Modding Plasma Sword

Recently got to level 30 with my Plasma Sword, thought it would be good to ask some more advanced players what the best setup would be, I've got 1 forma if that matters.

Plasma Sword is best used as a Charge weapon. in light of that, personally i'd take off Pressure point for an Elemental. and Melee Channel isn't useful for me since i take Melee strikes at opportune moments, not saving it. so it's useless for me(might be good for you, however) :p

 

that would make just enough slots to fit in a single Elemental Combo, and Rending Strike(60% Charge Damage, 60% Puncture Damage). 

 

Focus Energy(40% Charge Speed, 60% Electric Damage) is also a useful mod.

 

unfortunately, not enough slots for all of the mods you should just always use on Plasma Sword, and an Elemental Combo, and Rending Strike & Focus Energy. :p

Best choice would be to craft a Galatine.

But everyone has that (and so do I). I think it gets kinda stale when your entire squad is carrying the same melee weapon one-shotting some insanely high level infested, but no one really has the plasma sword which I'm pretty sure has some high crits and can be used in some situations that wouldn't work for the Galatine.
