Which Sidearm Should I Choose?

Just sold my magnus after leveling it, i also sold my lex/vasto after doing so and not putting a potato on any of them and waiting for the akimbo. But I'd say it goes Vasto=Lex>Magnus. depending on ststus/Crit both limits your mod choices and the lower damage doesnt help with that

AkBolto > AkVasto > Dual Broncos.  I would pick from first two, since Broncos are only good up close and have lower DPS.

Not very cheap to make, but so worth it.

ah this brings back memories of when the bronco and dual broncos sucked horribly in the beginning and the dual broncos didn't get much better. have they gotten better since damage 2.0?

Tried the Lex, loved it. Upgraded to Aklex, love it even more.

Personally I think a factor in pistol choice is the way you shoot. For Lex/Aklex its never about high fire rate. It's more like *BOOM* next target *BOOM* next target and so on. And it's reliable too, you don't have to account for projectile speed. Grineer hiding behind cover? No problem, as long as you can still see a bit of his shoulder, you can get him. Shield Lancers too, aim for the feet, or above the shield (personally I prefer going for the feet, seems easier to shoot).

And it's not just the Lex. I've never felt a noticeable drop in accuracy of the Aklex even at long range despite what the numbers say.

Aklex with a maxed Pistol Gambit has 44% Crit chance, that's almost once in every 2 shots. Maxed Target Cracker gives 60% increase in damage. With a high base damage, throw in the elements. You can do the math.

With these pistols you are aiming to take out the enemy within 1 shot, and in rarer instances 2. Any more than that and the disadvantages of the Lex/Aklex will bite you HARD. High recoil, low clip size, slow reload speed (a base reload speed of 3 seconds!), you will be overwhelmed by the enemy. But like I said, if you can take out most of the enemies within 1 shot, the disadvantages are mitigated.

A fresh Lex is just going to feel very heavy and cumbersome, you gotta mod em up. There are a few fantastic pistols, but personally I swear by the Aklex.

On a side note, if you're going stealth, this is probably the worst choice. This thing is LOUD.
