CORPUS BOSS REVAMP: SGT. NEF ANYO, LEADER AND PROTECTOR OF THE SOLAR RAILS.

AEGIS MECH SUIT 1002036_569290723152516_1283288453_n.jpg

INFO:

PERSONALITY: He would be a gruff sounding leader type, he of course will have the robotic sound in his voice like other corpus celebrities. Instead of his rather cocky personality he has now, he will be more cautious and focused. His combat style is focused on him protecting himself and staying in strategic locations.

LOOKS: His Suit will be similar to the ones the infantry uses but it will be white with grey camouflage and orange energy. However, it will not have the top part of the helmet system/ also, it would have ribbed padding on the outer edges of the suit, and have some experimental combat pads. He has extra tech that links him to his AEGIS mech-armor (backpack, modified gloves, and stuff on his legs).

AEGIS MECH-ARMOR: It is an experimental technology that was soon cut from research and development after the Gradivus Dilemma. AEGIS was researched by Alad V, before the conception of the Zanuka Project. It uses a link system similar to the one used by Alad V for Zanuka. It also uses replicated warframe technology so it can be used almost seamlessly with the user. The AEGIS has an armored shell on it similar to Jackal's and Hyena's, however it is in an Ape form and is very Bulky rather than the typical streamlined look of Corpus Proxies. The outer shell is a Darker Orange with the typical Grey  insides/ joints of Proxies.

BATTLE IDEA/ DYNAMIC:

Of course it is the typical mission run through with Anyo heckling you, however the prerequisite to get to him is to hijack a cargo dropship and get to his end of the map: A large open-air Cargo Bay. Once you get there and step off the dropship, Anyo is there.

Anyo is shouting orders to Crewmen around the cargo bay to manage it, but once he sees you he walks towards a small portion of the cargo bay saying "I was expecting you Tenno..." the AEGIS drops down behind him and opens up for him to step in "*[insert epic battle intro quote]*" He steps in and it closes around him, it then stands up and raises it's arms in a combative position.

Anyo, along with the Aegis's combative abilities, uses an explosive projectile modified variant of the Lanka. The AEGIS itself uses it's brute strength as it's main advantage, using powerful punches, kicks and a jet powered charge as it's main attacks. While attacking, certain (glowing) vents will open on it's joints allowing you to attack and stun it (does some damage). The Suit could also have a large permanent vent on the back, so you can shoot when the suit has paused after an attack (like in Kril's Battle)

After a having a certain portion of health taken down, Anyo will go into a defensive mode and find a place to climb up around the Cargo Bay and hang on. Anyo will shoot his Lanka at you (these can be dodged of course), MIRVs on the suit will rarely shoot off, but these too can be dodged and only lock on to the last location of the target (but the blast radius is quite large). In this defensive mode, a large vent on the arm can be shot to deal damage to Anyo, and he will jump down to try to ground pound you (short AOE).

Basically rinse and repeat until last portion of health where he will become very aggressive and the movements of his suit will be more feral in nature. Once his suit is disabled, he will eject from the suit and you must shoot him before he escapes. He would fall to the floor and choke on his last words: "In the name of profit, I release my soul to the void...."

His revamp could accompany a sweet event, like Vay Hek and Sargas Ruk, where there is a conquest to take back Mars and take back full control over the Solar Rails. Of course it would be nice if Mars had an environment revamp like Mars is turned into a snowy Red Planet plagued by blizzards or something to accompany this event, but who knows, maybe the Devs have better plans for Mars's future.

I wonder if it would be good to fight him in two stages.

First stage would be him in his current state (with a buff of course) where there are platforms with barricades he uses for sniping and protection along with teleportation which allows him to move along the platforms. It starts the same as you explain but at the start of the first stage he uses his smoke screen and teleports onto a platform. In order to get to him you have to scan the platform he is currently on to find its weak spot. You have to scan and destroy before he teleports to another platform. When you manage to destroy it, Anyo comes falling down and after taking a certain amount of damage he uses his smoke screen and teleports back onto the remaining platforms until there are no more platforms remaining.

At this time a cutscene starts where the Tenno surround him. As they close in on Anyo he presses a button on his wrist. The AEGIS comes down, hits the ground causing a shockwave around Anyo and knocks the Tenno back. From here, Anyo enters his suit and the second wave begins.

Its a good idea for a Corpus boss but not for Nef Anyo rework. I think we need a true Sniper boss like Crying Wolf or "The End" from metal gear, you know hiding in the shadows, shooting from afar, more than one tactic if you get too close that kind of thing but i would love to see this concept into the game as a separated boss. Cause Corpus needs some more personality in his boss roster.
