infrno40 Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 I play oblivion from time to time, like sasoka said, use nexus mod if you want to have fun with mods and it's also use to fix bugs or other things that Bethesda are too lazy to do. Siubijeni Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Ewww, no. Oblivion was terrible. The scaling was broken (you know a game sucks when you can one-hit the boss), the plot was stale, and most every combat system sucks man-parts (seriously, there is no point not to wear armor to be an actual mage... amongst other things) Morrowind was by far the best in every aspect except archery and unarmed combat. Siubijeni Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 The one thing they got right was being able to cast a spell with a weapon in your hand. My main complaint, though, is the armor system. Medium armor no longer exists, and while unarmored technically exists there is literally no point in not wearing armor. It's not combat itself that is broken--its everything that combat relies on.
