New Warframe Concept; Visage The Ethereal Frame [Under Construction]

Hmm, I'm wondering how I work it in, because of the kind of frame she is and that small tid bit of history. I think I'll have to play around with it a bit more. o.o

Here's the lore, won't fit on that page;

 

"Aerea, a soldier who had ascended through the ranks, she followed orders that were given to her. Almost as if they were an absolute on the field, loyal to a fault, until that fateful day had come in which she had to defend a drop point for other Tenno who were to arrive during a Grineer invasion. Gunfire, shrapnel, a bombardier left and right, a Grineer lancer readying his weapon to enable other Grineer to fire. Strategic, calculated, those were the Grineer; however, this wave of Grineer was unlike the ones she had fought, it seemed, routine. Little did Aerea know, the Grineer had set up an ambush, cloak and camo in the dunes. Behind the rocks and within the crevices, they were waiting. 

 

The Tenno dropship had arrived as scheduled, but then, the whistling sound, a flash, followed by an explosion. Before her, fellow comrades were burning, pieces of the ship falling as metal, burning, melting, severed around her and into the chasm before her. She drew her weapon, preparing to fire, and fire she did, continuing to do so, one Grineer after the next, however, there were too many to quell; they came like an endless rain. Aerea alone on the battlefield, she could take as many as she herself could. She fell, like others before her yet she refused. She was told as the ship had been taken down to pull out, to withdraw and let them burn. Although, they were fellow Tenno, comrades in arms, not only allies but friends alike. She was no longer blind that day, though what stir within her was an anger, now to be an unquenchable anger for Grineer, revenge was her creedo. 

 

However, weeks turned to months which eventually became years, her distaste towards the Grineer burned ever brighter. News had come of the Grineer's main base of operations a layout and some footage of their next target, it was situated in the Void, but why? However, not all was as it seemed to be, the Corpus had been working with the Grineer as well. "Sergeant Nef Anyo" and "Captain Vor"?! Why would these two work together? It was another mission; another opportunity had presented itself. Aerea would get her chance to take the Grineer down at it's source, would she possibly be able to finally avenge the Tenno that had fallen that day? Aerea was a fierce combatant on the field, her and three others had joined the fight. The Tenno were at ends whilst fighting the Grineer, which seemed at that. The Grineer had positioned snipers at certain locations within their primary base of operations. Two of the Tenno had decided to draw enemy fire where as one other was left vulnerable. A well placed shot, forcing one of the Tenno to fall onto the ground. Aerea had caught wind of this, recalling the events, she dashed before the Tenno; "No more Tenno shall die, I will not allow it!" It was then her body lit up surrounding her and the Tenno she fought to protect. However, it was not without consequence, the light which continued to surround her had finally dissipated, yet, they had to withdraw immediately. Before she blacked out she saw a shadowy figure.

 

This was her affliction, the ether, it's essence flowed through her. Months of operation and afterwards she was placed in stasis, her form and figure analyzed as was her affliction. They outfitted her and as they did with others built a frame around her. However, throughout the many battles she had faced, Aerea was put away, in her frame and her cryopod retaining the memory of what once was and the tragedy that had occurred before her.

 

Present Day

 

Time passed, planets changed, but the Tenno remained as they were, their creed unaffected by time. Grineer had invaded and taken cryopods, researching the technology to make them better, stronger and more lethal. The fateful day had come when they invaded another Derelict, the Grineer were expecting to find cryopods or anything that would make their search worth while and they succeeded. 

 

Again as they brought the pods into their facility for research and possibly even dissection, a small group of Tenno had infiltrated their base on a Mobile Defense mission. Agile, lithe and silent they were able to occupy the deepest part of the Grineer facility. However, as skilled as they were, more came, the Tenno in their frames fought on through the Grineer that were alerted. Gunfire and the shouts of Grineer, these were the sounds she remembered. The Tenno had arrived at the cryopod station, and to their behest, it was hers. They continued the fight, fire and poison exchanged between the two. A rumbling came and the crypod shook, opening, familiar sounds to her as if to beckon her to reawaken, to become reborn and join the light once again! 

 

Catching a Tenno by the wrist, a decimated cryopod, Aerea had caught the attention of the other Tenno. Unsure they fired upon her, she released her shield, taking it upon her the damage that they wrought. Invigorated; "Once again..." she exclaimed as a Grineer Butcher approached. Throwing the Tenno who's wrist she had caught to the side she intercepts and in kind, curling her fingers into a fist. Although, that was not all, she gathered the particles of ether into hand forming an unstable sphere and drove it into the Butcher afterwards kicking him into the crowd of Grineer that awaited on the other side. The Butcher exploding took the others around it out. It was with that act, she was one of them, along side her comrades, though in different form, once again."

Wait, which helmet? Is it one of the concept helmets or is it in the main full bodied image? o.o

Alright, I modified the duration for the Shield absorption and incorporated the Power up duration as well so the ability is not in infinite mode. It increases in intervals of 3 seconds per rank up for her final ability.

I just introduced alternative other abilities to the OP to add variety to the attacks, two or four of them combo with one another so where ability 1 may seem like a dash or teleport it actually is meant to have ability 2 take over from there.

My favorite is the Avion helmet. I wouldn't really know any powers for it, because your other helmets in the OP pretty much covered everything. Maybe just for cosmetic effect. ;)

The Cannonier's Helm looks a bit strange, I mean look at those things that look like bunny ears.

Well, I just finished that before I went to class earlier today. The evening before,I tried but seemed like I was forcing it so I had to wait an evening before I felt like I could think of something new for her image.

hello there i am a long time warframe member and i must say this is one of the best looking concepts i have seen in awhile... the spells we can work on that. You have my support for the eventual make your own warframe contests (aside from the guy who made that medusa frame) Keep up the good work

 

I do have a idea for a #1 spell

-locks target in statis field that stops all movement and deals damage to all nearby enemies when damage is done to it-

So basically a single target spell that locks a guy in a rectangle which deals damage to enemies near it when you shoot it.
