Valkyr Rework - Fast Fun Berserker

Ripline stays the same except scales better and ignores 25% armor.

Warcry does the same thing except also increases melee damage and/or movement speed.

Paralysis no longer drains your shields.

Hysteria is completely different.

 

 

 

Hysteria, while active, replaces your 1, 2, 3, and 4 with the following abilities. No more claw-melee. All attacks gain some percentage of armor-piercing damage. No invincibility though. Too boring.

 

 

 


1: Slayer Rush (10 energy)

Valkyr becomes immune to all movement impairing effects and increases her movement speed by 60% for 5 seconds. Next melee attack does 2x bonus damage, knocks the target back, and ends the effect.

2: Ferocious Strike (25 energy)

Leaps towards target and strikes in melee dealing melee-weapon x2.5 damage and inflicting Open Wound. This ability can be used twice in a row for no cost if used a second time within 2s.

 

>Open Wound: Deals 0.5x melee damage every 1s, lasts for 4s.

3: Enrage (25 energy)

Negates the next projectile, melee, or direct area damage attack directed at Valkyr. Negating an attack removes all movement impairing effects. Valkyr charges towards the reticle and strikes in melee dealing .8x-1.5x weapon damage, inflicts Stun and Open Wound. Damage increases with distance dashed.

 

>Stun: Stuns target for 5s

>Open Wound: Deals 0.5x melee damage every 1s, lasts for 4s.

4: Harvest Blood (50 energy)

Deals 1.3x melee weapon damage, heals self for 25%damage dealt, and slightly knocks target back. Consumes Open Wound dealing 130%/160%/190% of any remaining bleed damage and restoring energy cost of this ability.

Basically, Valkyr would be jumping around on people and wrecking them in melee during Hysteria instead of doing the same boring floaty combo that scales horribly and looks awkward. It would be an ultimate for people to leap around and counter-attack enemies and lifesteal and all kinds of fun stuff.

No, she just needs the melee 2.0 combo system worked into her Hysteria, and new animations for slashing claw strikes, not hover boxing. She could have some combos which are leaps and wide slashes. And your Open Wound status kind of already exists as Bleed, which should proc more often on her Hysteria attacks since she uses claws.

Honestly, I love these. They're a little simplistic, which isn't bad, and they could use some fine tuning, but I like your way of thinking.

These skills are synergistic, one of favorite things about skills in any mmo. I wish more warframe skills would be that way. It would make the game much more fun and gear it much more towards endgame.
