If Melee Was Abit Like This....

from what has been mentioned in the livestreams, yes melee 2.0 is supposed to have a tree style growth system in that the more you use a certain weapon, the more you unlock different "attacks" with it (ie animations, counters, different dmg types, etc)

thusly one could imagine you could customize your fragor's attack chain to deal more puncture dmg on some hits, or swing faster but deal less dmg, or be able to block and counter attack

im pulling a lot of this out of my &#! becuz from what i recall geoff kinda was vague about the system, but implied a lot of this
