With the Reveal of Orbital Stations serving as combat lobbies, it gave me an idea for both a new way to teach the new Tenno, and a way to introduce the stations in general.

Sanctuary

This is the Tenno’s Tower.

Hidden in the dark sector (That area of blankness above and below the disk of the solar system, waaaay off of the solar rail), this Tenno Constructed Void tower is the first step for those being awoken from their cryo pod. Much like all other orbital platforms, this would contain shops and trading places and the like, but more importantly Sanctuary would have a ‘Veteran Tenno’ to guide new people through the game’s many systems.

NEW IN DEPTH TUTORIAL

The new tutorial would be broken up into segments. The goal is to Mix in action with Knowledge.

You will still have the Lotus give you the Crash Course in ‘How to Tenno’ so you can survive getting your tired and thawing butt to the drop ship. During the final run, the portal that held your frame will explode, doing INSANE amounts of damage to your Excalibur warframe (or whatever Diabolis Ex Machina to give you justification for a new Frame). You are dragged out by the other Tenno, and you are taken to extraction.

Said drop ship would take you to sanctuary where you will be given a choice for a new Excalibur frame (or Mag or Loki), it will be made PLAINLY OBVIOUS that you cannot go back and change your mind. Outside the room where you get your new frame, a Big-Friendly Rhino will be waiting to ‘refresh’ your memory of how to be a Tenno. He would give you the ins and outs of how affinity works, how to navigate through worlds, and a quick rundown of why we fight. At this point the lotus will request his newest student be sent to mission at the first node of Mercury.

You go, kill Grineer in an exterminate mission, and come back.

Sensei Karl Rhino will now explain how mods work, and how each shapes your weapon and makes them and your warframe more effective. In addition to this training, the player would get 5 levels of affinity to all weapons, and their frame. They would also be given, Serration, Hornet Strike, Pressure Point, Redirection, and Vitality to start them off. Lotus calls again.

You go, blow up a reactor, and do your first spy mission, and come back.

Sensei Karl Rhino shows the tenno the Initiate’s VR room. Both the tenno and Rhino will be in a rudimentary simulation to explain the basics of Parkour and advanced movement, and stealth mechanics.

Lotus will call again, and before the Tenno runs to the drop ships, Sensei will give the player a rundown of the objectives of both Defense and Survival. The player is off of the hook until they battle Captain Vor (Cronus BP is a 100% drop for a player’s first run).

THE REST OF THE STAR MAP WILL NOT UNLOCK AT THIS POINT.

Sensei will give one final lesson teaching the ins and outs of the foundry and creating additional weapons and warframes. In addition, he will show the player the Portal room, and Mastery Test room. But after that, Lotus will give an in depth reason for why the Tenno fight, and why she thawed the player. After this she shows the player where the Codex is for any additional information and then at that point, the new Tenno is free to play.

FEATURES OF SANCTUARY

  • Void Portal Room

    • While other stations have a lobby for people to form a cell before taking a node, or an alert; Sanctuary will have the ONLY portal lobby room available for void access.

    • This is to bring veteran players in an environment with the new guys, so the new player can ‘ooo’ and ‘ahh’ at your awesome gear that you farmed hours for.

    • It also puts players closer together for assistance, and gives a central location for people to form parties to do Void Runs.

      • Each portal room would be sorted by key type (one for Defense, Capture, etc.) and there is a central slot for a Key to open the portal (much like how Vor got to the void, only more Tenno-ey).

      • The Cell leader puts his/her key in and they whole cell leave on their void run.

    • No more wading through whisper after whisper, just invite the tenno hanging out in that specific tower room.

      • Because you can SEE what gear a Tenno has, you can better assemble a team if you are the picky sort

  • The Mastery Test Room

    • This is where you test for your next rank

    • The room is imposing, it is dark with high coliseum-style seating

    • Seats are filled with epic looking Tenno; there is one monitor for the Lotus to gaze upon you as you take the test.

      • The monitor will turn and face you at all times.

        • She will get agitated if you stand before her for too long before activating your test

    • Kneel in the center to accept the test, the room goes white, and the test loads for you to attempt as normal.

  • The Initiate VR room

    • Allows you to play completed mastery tests or replay the parkour or stealth tutorials.

    • When Melee 2.0 drops, will allow you to practice against simulated enemies

    • Also a Firing Range.

      • Will create a separate instance for each room, so the player’s lag doesn’t affect the whole station.

      • Allows you to test weapons that you currently have the mastery for, but have yet to build.

  • Clan Charter Hall

    • A Grand-Hall with a banner for a number of Active Clans

    • Pay platinum to get your clan featured in this hall

      • Top 20 Clans of Each category (shadow, storm, etc.) get a spot in this hall for free

      • 5 Plat a day, first come first serve.

      • This gives Clans that don’t have the resources to make websites (or get their threads buried) a chance to get new members

    • Banner lists the name of the Warlord and 5 Officers (and obviously has the Emblem and clan name)

    • Right clicking on the banner will allow people to submit requests to join directly.

  • Dueling Rooms

    • Made for 1v1 or 2v2 combat

    • Straight forward, like the Dojo version. Only bigger

    • Put your money where your mouth is; throw plat or credits down on the match.

  • Priority Drop-Ship hanger

    • Will instantly get you to any alert or Invasion in game

    • A lazy way to get to where the action is while you are waiting for people that want to spend T-X Something Keys.

Operation Safe Haven

Even with the growing numbers of our enemies, we continue to persevere. As we awaken more of our Kin, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure we can operate in enemy space undetected.

Tenno, it is time to consolidate our forces. To prepare to strike out as needed from central locations throughout the Origin System. To do this we need to construct hidden staging areas at key locations outside of enemy controlled locations. Any raw materials taken from the enemy can be used to quicken production of these Tower Stations

Be wary, for our enemies have nearly quadrupled their scouting compliment to seek out Tenno operatives before they can carry out their mission. If any of these scout ships manages to successfully report back to their commanders, it can severely cripple our abilities to meet the enemy in combat.

The goal of this operation is twofold:

  • Get Resources, and donate to each platform at every system (much like dojo room donation)

  • Board, and Reroute every scout ship in every system.

  • It is important to note, there is no maximum time limit for the event. It will run for a MINIMUM of 1 week. But whenever the player base finishes it, it will be finished.

  • Once the last bit has been donated, and the last scout ship has fallen, the event will be open for 24 hours to allow stragglers a final chance to get their numbers. After which it will be closed out and completed.

Every System will have 3 scout ship nodes that will belong to whatever the main faction is (Of the original system nodes, or every scout ship would be Grineer). The mission is half spy/half sabotage, you need to hack data terminals to deploy false information about the location of Tenno Movements, and Reroute/Cripple the ship to throw off the enemy. Should an individual Tenno (or a whole cell) manage to do a full stealth completion (no alarms raised); the mission will count for 5 runs and award both a resource drop enhancer, and doubler.

Every System Platform will require 5 million of every common (ferrite, nano spores, etc) resource, and 1 million of every uncommon resource (Polymer, alloy plates). None of the rare drops; that would make the player base begin frothing at the mouth.

Minimum Qualifying goals for an individual (Gets you the badge, and whatever the DE wants to give people) requires; 25 missions completed on scout ships, OR 2500 Common and 1000 uncommon resource contributions for a single system.

Maximum Qualifying goals (gets you all the every swag and the vandals and the wraiths) would require any 25 scout ships, 2500 of EVERY common, and 1000 of EVERY uncommon (again, donated to 1 station).

I personally don’t care what the reward is for this event. I would do it just to get more content to enjoy inside the game.

That’s it for now, ill do more formatting stuff later. Too many projects to do, and I need to make sure Vindect is getting drawn

i like it but lower the cost of the resources needed for the  third  idea, i would run out of ferrite every week to to get a new weapon and dont get me started on the uncommons cut them in half and it seems more reasonable

For the community wide goal? or the personal goal?
