Empowering Frames/weapons/mods

The game of Warframe has Weapons, Warframes, and Sentinels following Levels
and the various Mods used by any of the above following Ranks.

In this system leveling an Item increases Mod capacity, and ranking a Mod increase the "power".

 

I suggest we allow both Mods and Items to follow both Levels and Ranks.

 

Items are Ranked/Mods in one of, or a variety of ways:
-Ranked/Leveled using Forma

-Fusion Cores adapted to only ranking Items/leveling Mods
-Reaching maximum Item level/Mod rank will present  the option to Forma them like the system we currently have.

Obviously each Item/Mod would have a maximum limit like the system currently has.

 

Now for the "what increases" I don't know if DE would like that to be regulated, like each rank of a mod increases by the same %, of if it'd be similar to the current Forma situation where you pick and choose what upgrade you receive.

 

The Item ranking effects can think:

-Increased Warframe mod capacity
-Increased Warframe health/stamina/shields/shield recharge rate
-Increased Warframe movement speed
-Increased Warframe power duration/power strength/power efficiency/power cast speed
-Increased Warframe armor
-Increased Warframe recovery speed
-Increased Weapon damage/fire rate
-Increased Weapon magazine size/reload speed/maximum ammo
-Increased Weapon accuracy/decreased recoil
-Increased Weapon critical chance/critical damage
-Increased Weapon status chance
-Increased Sentinel mod capacity
-Increased Sentinel health/shields/shield recharge rate
-Increased Sentinel power duration/power strength/power efficiency
-Increased Sentinel armor

 

As Mods are obviously different from Items in that they cover a wide variety of uses, the amount of effects I can think of is limited.

-Decreased Mod cost
-Increased Mod effectiveness (i.e. 15%/rank becomes 20%/rank)
-Increased Mod max rank
