Re-Evaluate Platinum Costs Of Weapons.

Now that you can buy credits with platinum, there are some serious adjustments that need to be made to the cost of weapons.

For example, Lex costs 35,000 credits OR 190 platinum. Buying a Lex with platinum gives you the supercharged version of the Lex. Other than this, the two are identical.

A supercharger costs 20 platinum. 10,000 credits costs 30 platinum, 25,000 costs 60, and 60,000 costs 90. So at most, a supercharged Lex costs 110 platinum, and in this fashion you would also end up with 25,000 credits to spare since buying a 10k and a 25k instead of a 60k for the same price is silly.

However, the cost of a Lex with a supercharger with platinum is 190 instead of 110. For the cost of the difference, you could get ANOTHER supercharger AND another 25k credits ontop of the supercharged lex and the extra 25k credits, totalling: A Lex, two superchargers, and 50k.

Lex isn't the only weapon out there like this; in fact, every weapon in the market that has both a credit cost and a platinum cost has a platinum cost well beyond what it would take to just buy the credits and the supercharger.

Which only further emphasizes how ludicrous the plat price for weapons are.

All the plat prices for things that aren't cosmetics, alternate helmets, or reactors/catalysts need to be cut down by... at least half I'd say.

The starter Warframes costing 75 plat each is actually pretty reasonable. Warframes should be like... 75-150 plat, weapons around half that. That's my instinct on where prices should be to encourage people who don't have 1000+ plat from Founders Packs to actually spend real cash money on the game.

90 plat for only 60k creds?! thats insane. IT should at least be 100-125k for 90 plat

Credit gains got nerfed pretty bad.

Anyways, assuming you make 1k every 3 minutes that's roughly $6 for 3 hours of farming time. Not terribly unreasonable, although yes, it does put a pretty high value on game time. Planetside assumes 1 hour of gameplay is worth 40 cents to skip IIRC, which would make the revised costs for 60K roughly 20 plat.

Well the issue is that we the players aren't entirely sure these conversion rates are here to stay. They could increase for all we know and we would get a better credit rate.

Honeslty 90 plats for 60k is pretty bad.

Considering the cost for platnum in real currency is 5 bucks for what 80 plat?

essentially your paying around 12 bucks for a Supercharged Lex...

also 60k for 20 plats, 1.25 USD for 60k, around that it sounds almost reasonable... im just glad they are dialing in prices and changing things, it was scary when they first came out before with prices.
