Warframe Idea: Tempest/comet

Name: Tempest/Azimuth/Comet/Zephyr/Zephyrus (Whichever)

Star/sky/astronomy/wind themed Warframe

Base stats:

Health: 100

Power: 130 (maybe 150?)

Armor: 25

Shield Capacity: 100

Shield Recharge: >= 20

He is better suited for combat in large, open areas. He is a mix of DPS and support, focussing on stunning enemies.

Abilities:

15 - Vector - open a portal of clouds at your location. Activating this ability again (spending power both times) will transport you to your portal, briefly stunning enemies around you. (Or stuns enemies you pass through as you are transported back to your portal, but not sure how that would work. It would be a difficult mechanic to make).

(possible replacement) Tornado/Whirlwind/Hurricane - 25/50 - Quickly spin in circles with your melee weapon, dealing normal damage to anything that connects with it. During the effect, you have an increased chance to stun enemies you hit. You can still move while this skill is in effect. Increasing the level of the ability will increase the spin time.

30 - Cloudburst/Sweeping Wind - for 2/5/7 seconds, your bullets have a 10-25% chance to knock enemies down.

50 - Asteroid/Magnesium Strike - Fires an arching, glowing star from your frame that explodes on impact, dealing a fair amount of damage and blinding(or)stunning enemies in its AoE. Because the projectile arches, it will be nearly impossible to use in confined spaces, as you will need to fire it upwards to hit targets at a distance. This will also take some practice.

100 -Bullet Storm/Meteora(Greek for "suspended in air") - Floats in place, suspended by a ball of clouds that offers a small amount of protection while midair. You cannot move during the time this ability is in effect. Instead of firing bullets from your clip or magazine, you fire bullets from your overall ammo pool of that weapon, which means if youre using an automatic rifle, you can rain a constant stream of bullets down from the sky. *Maybe fire rate is increased as well* (Skill would be most effective if used after jumping from a high place, to get more coverage of the battlefield). Bullets have a rainbow glow as they fire from your weapon.

As for aesthetics, I really have no clue. I was thinking to model its appearance on ancient astronomers/philosophers, with an energy light design like a globe or a constellation map.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my idea, feedback would be awesome.

This is an IDEA. Not feedback on warframes and weapons that currently exist. If they want warframe "suggestions" in the warframe and weapon FEEDBACK forum, they should change the description.

To make vector work, you'd want to make it act like a dash move from rhino or excalibur that stuns anything you travel through from point A to B. Though it'd need to be 25 energy per portal becuase you're getting to travel pretty much anywhere you can lay the clouds down.

Exactly. Maybe they could disappear over some time or when you travel too far from them?
