A New Katana

So a couple of weeks ago the melee weapon idea contest took place and the winners were chosen by the community, the new weapons are really cool and look pretty great; makes me wish melee 2.0 would come out already but the wait will most definitely be worth it i'm sure. :)

Im happy with the weapons that were chosen but i was kinda disappointed that a katana wasn't chosen (or at least the one i thought was the best)

so i thought that i should try and get it into the game myself by using zbrush and making a model and sending it to DE since i had some free time to do this

Discalimer: I have never done anything related to graphic design or 3D modeling or anything so before you go and comment and say that i didnt do a very good job, im pretty aware of that fact, but considering its the first time ive ever done something like this with no classes or anything what-so ever i think i did pretty well and im well aware that this isnt game quality but i mean since i made it id like to share it; sure there are probably a bunch of you out there that could have done better but if you have rude comments id appreciate it if you keep them to yourself.

I like it, but I like the other one better.

 

Too lazy to bother with searching for links but as it sit's in the sheath an energy/what-have-you-meter charges, when you use it it drains the gauge, charge attacking empties the gauge immediately. I like it as you don't have to worry about charge times at the cost of limited times in-between, while tactically rewarding e-mashing (Soon to be altered by Melee 2.0, I digress).

I guess i still just like the aesthetics of the other one but i mean i will still be building the wakizashi
