Phobos Boss Idea: Schiene Kaiser (Rail King)

Lore:

Due to the dangerous conditions found on Phobos any travel outside of air travel is difficult for the Grineer. To rectify the situation they have created rail systems that pass through most bases, and one "super" rail system that goes through all of them.

Only one train uses that particular rail system, and that is the Schiene Kaiser, a mobile Grineer super transport and weapon. Armed to the teeth with only the best of Grineer Anti-infantry and Anti-Vehicle weaponry and defenses, the Shiene Kaiser is used to transport only the most valuable and dangerous materials.

The Schiene Kaiser is a massive, massive train filled with both Grineer grunts and the Captian/Driver, who has merged himself cybernetically with the train's systems.

The train's cars are mostly flat, with containters and medium sized railings being used for cover by both you and the troops.

The train is armed with many defense systems, such as:

Gorgon-styled Turrets.

Anti-Infantry Cannons.

Anti-vehicle Cannons.

Ignis Turrets.

And giant cybernetic two-pronged claws that unfold from the sides of the train and attack called Grappler Claws.

As the Tenno move forward sections of the train will start coming apart and move along on rails located on the sides of the Schiene Kaiser, becoming mobile attack platforms.

These attack platforms are armed with 2 Gorgon Turrets, an Anti-Infantry Cannon, and one of the Grappler Claws.

Grappler Claws have: A slam attack, a sweeping attack, and a grab attack.

Grappler Claws are able to grab containers from the car you are on and throw them at you. After 50% of its health is gone it will do a huge sweeping attack, sending all remaining containers on the car flying off.

Gorgon Turrets function like a more damaging gorgon, and are used by Elite Lancers who you can shoot off them.

Ignis Turrets are giant flamethrowers with increased damage and AoE/Range. When the Attack Platforms get closer to the train they will activate and make big, sweeping motions. After a few seconds use they overheat and are vulnerable to gunfire.

Anti-Infantry Cannons are cannons that shoot large, fast moving cannonballs that explode upon impact and can send players flying. These are only used after all containers have been knocked away.

Players can jump ontop of the Attack Platforms and attack a generator which powers them, allowing you to destroy them. If the arm is still active while the player is on the platform it will use only the grab and slam attack. The slam attack will damage the platform, and can destroy it. If you are on the platform when it is destroyed you die and must use a revive.

For clarification the platform won't immediately explode when the health is depleted, you will be given a two to three second visual warning by hearing a big screeching noise and seeing the platform start shaking violently.

When you reach the second car closest to the Engine a cutscene will start. You see the Engine Room/Car (which is much bigger in size than the other cars)  and the Engine, which is covered by a mass of wires. The engine rotates to reveal that the Captain/Driver is connected to the top of the Engine by those wires (He has no lower body). It is shown that like Hek almost all of his body is mechanical, and that his giant (not Lephantis size, but more around double the size of a Ruk.) He then grabs two massive weapons from the ceiling (a multi-barreled rocket launcher and mini-gun), which then fuse with his arms.

As the battle starts the front of the train splits apart into two giant attack platforms armed with the Anti-vehicle Cannons and two Grappling Claws each. Along with that some Gorgon Turrets unfold from the floor/walls of the cars in front of you.

The anti-vehicle cannons will open fire, shooting giant arcing cannon blasts that'll aim for the ground where players are standing (indicated by a marker Think of it as mortar rounds.) As they do so the automated Gorgon Turrets will open fire periodically, stopping every few seconds due to overheat and reloading.

Players are able to attack the cannons and destroy them, decreasing the danger of the battle. Players can also destroy the Claws and Gorgon Turrets. The Gorgon Turrets respawn after a while.

The Engine/Captain's weakspots will be wires that are slightly bigger than the others. There would be two in front of him, two on the sides, and two connecting the cannons to the engine. After a wire has taken alot of damage he will grow angry and yank his arm/body ripping the wire out.

The Captain attacks with the minigun and rocket launcher in different ways. He alternates between big, AoE/Sweeping attacks and single target attacks.

With the mini-gun he'll either single out a target and focus on them, forcing them to move around or becomes swiss cheese, or he'll do a big sweeping motion, spraying bullets across the area.

With the rocket launcher he'll either shoot single target homing missiles, mutliple target homing missiles, or a single target huge burst where he fires all the rockets currently chambered at a single player.

I'll admit this is not particularly well thought out, more or less I just decided to think up a train boss and wing it.

One alternative idea I had though was making the engine Orokin-tech powered and adding laser cannons instead of the Anti-Infantry/Vehicle cannons.

Edit: Accidentally translated Kaiser to King, when its actually Emperor.
