A new take on splash weapons. This would be a slow automatic weapon firing relatively slow, arcing projectiles that explode on impact. The explosion damage would be much lower than the other launcher, maybe on the order of 50 blast damage, and the area would be much smaller as well. Grenade impact could be quite good, though, maybe 50 as well, either all impact or maybe have a little puncture. Fire-rate of about 4 or 5 shots per second, accuracy would be near-perfect, though you still have to deal with projectile flight time and arc. Clip size of 20, maybe 25, with a moderate to long reload (2.5-3.5 seconds).

One tweak could be to make this a viable crit-gun, a first for explosive weapons, with a 15-20% crit chance and a 2x or higher multiplier, with crits effecting the explosions as well (in exchange maybe bump the AoE damage back down to 40 or so).

 

This could alternatively be used as a rework of the Torid, which is currently very underwhelming; give the torid 20-50 impact damage, maybe a shorter gas length, and make it automatic with a decent clip size.
