weirdee Posted February 25, 2014 Share Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) While the philosophy may be risk/reward, it's mostly to prevent being able to abuse point blank explosions. This is why many other games also have explosive self damage. Also, I also agree with the fact that sentinels do actually cause a lot of unintentional boom accidents that they shouldn't really be causing.
