How do I get the Artifact in the Deck?

Can someone explain how do i get those and what's the purpose of it?

An artifact is a pre-mission consumable (I'm rather unsure of it being a one-time use or not). What it does is it gives the player(s) special advantages during the mission (like having enemies show up on the radar).

As for acquiring or equipping artifacts, I do not know. I wouldn't be able help you in that regard, because I recently picked up the game. It'll be a learning expereince for both of us.

They're not consumables as far as I can tell, I have the artifact that lets me see on the enemy radar, and I played a few matches with it. To equip an artifact, you see that big box below the planet information? If you click on that, you can see what artifacts you have, and you can then select one to equip it. I also believe that artifacts are obtained in those "Alert" missions.

I got mine randonly inside one of those breakable containers i belive... not enterily sure, the one i received was a shotgun ammo card, that makes shotgun ammo more common, it is not one use only, it works as a deck of cards but only one can be set active (at least for now), so say i'm going to do a mission wich could take a long while and i'm not good a conserving ammo but i have a favorite weapon, and i happen to have a pistol ammo find artifact. I just flip it and now i can find ammo for my pistols more easily.
