My Collective Ideas And Improvements For Warframe.

Ok. So. I wanted to pull all of my other ideas from other threads, mash them together and make them into one neatly organized thread so that, hopefully, Dev's will read it and maybe ONE of my ideas will make it into the game I've currently been playing and really starting to like.

 

1. The Repository

 

The idea for this came for when I explored my clans dojo, which already was fully built. I started looking around and couldn't find something that just about every game that has a clan, guild, etc etc has, a community banking system. So, here's my idea. Keep in mind I already know that the vault is still an idea for the game that (I think) the dev's have mentioned. This idea only expands on it.
 
Have a room, that is buildable inside your dojo, where members of the clan can contribute unused or needed materials in order to facilitate expansion of said dojo. Right now it is extremely tedious and counter intuitive to go to each individual item to contribute materials in its production, almost to the point where I don't even want to waste the time to go try to find all the items in my dojo that are needing to be built. It's a hassle when it should be fun.
 
Easy fix.
 
Placing items in locations throughout the dojo becomes visible in the Repository whereas to all be controlled within the Repository. Meaning, walking up to the panel within the Repository opens a window that the Leader or a person delegated to do these tasks can see all buildings, rooms, and objects in the process of being created or needing materials to be created, much like what we already have in the personal foundry.
 
But with either option I envision a room where members of the clan can walk up to a panel, vault door, or maybe a stone figure with it's mouth of hand open and donate X amount of Y item (with a side by side panel of the materials available for donation). Then the person delegated to do the tasks for construction can use the materials. 
 
Base materials (Not counting inflation for number of members in clan) required to build:
 
200,000 Credits
100,000 Alloy Plate
20,000 Salvage
25,000 Rubedo
30,000 Circuits
15,000 Ferrite
500 Control Modules
25 Gallium
30 Morphics
10 Orokin cells
 
Why so many? Because the idea is for it to be a TEAM effort. Not just one person contributing ALL of the materials. You're apart of a clan, act like it.
 
2. Sentinel Restore Gear Item for new Clan Dojo research
 
It sucks when it gets destroyed. Sometimes you don't even notice it when or how it even happened. Or something the main culprit of it being blown up are the very frustrating stun locks. I'm looking at you napalm guise....So, what's the easy fix here? A blueprint of course!
 
 
Build requirements:
1,000 Credits
1,000 Alloy Plate
300 Rubedo
100 Circuits
2 Control Modules
 
60 second builds pl0x.
 
3. The Control Room
 
So, I've seen a thread or two on here about having clan halls be like a meeting room instead of seeing the same screen over and over. Why not have a room with a big pedestal that displays the solar system. In my head I imagine it like something from a star wars hologram thing. Dimly lit room with most of the light coming from the pedestal.  Optional spawn location from login? Would make the clan dojo more..Homie... for lack of a better word. Like, hey, I logged in, this is where I my Tenno lives. Would be a very nice and welcome change of scenery. At Least in my opinion.
 
Build requirements:
100k Credits
30,000 Alloy Plate
8,000 Circuits
8,000 Rubedo
10 Orokin cells
 
4. Defend the Dojo!
 
So, my idea here was just to add something new and hopefully fun to the dojo.  Once the clan has reached, lets say for the sake of the discussion, 30 members, you become on the radar of all enemy factions in the game. As clan membership increases it should be directly proportional to the chance of the dojo being attacked by a faction.
 
After taking into consideration of the feedback in my initial thread, this is was workaround for players who had large dojo's but the collective feelings from the clan were against it. A buildable device from the labs which attracts them to your dojo enabling the game mode and additional rewards.
 
Biolab: [Neural Distress Frequency]
 
Chemlab: [Grineer Distress Beacon]
 
Energylab: [Corpus Distress Beacon]
 
Totally optional and not forcing players to defend their dojo. So, players that want a peaceful place, can have it. Players that want that additional Warzone and have to upkeep their dojo, can also have it. Win/Win.
 
 
5. The Poker Table
 
Why? Because sometimes a tenno just needs to relax and have a game of cards with his mates. Credits and Platinum are able to be wagered. I didn't include mods because that would give unlimited trades daily. hurr durr just losing over and over on purpose to trade items. Buildable table to be placed in a room. Seats up to 5.
 
6. Squad Finder
 
Instead of line after line of "Hosting...." Why not have a side panel inside the recruiting panel (A panel within a panel op?! PANELCEPTION!) displaying a couple things:
 
a). What type of run it is.
 
b). How many are in the squad already.
 
c). What frames the host would like/accept
 
d). Any special/last notes the host wishs to impart ie 60 minute Survial, 40 wave Defense, going for X part or Y key etc etc etc.
 
7. Apply to Clan
 
Like a player you play with and his clan mates? Right click his name and hit apply to clan. Seems like a pretty easy way to also join a clan and help newbies find a clan. The request to join should how up in a panel similar to say the "pending" section.
 
8. Interception Void Missions
 
We already have a new game mode that isn't really being taken full advantage of, why not use it in the void as well. I personally like playing interception but I often don't because they don't drop materials I need. However, implementing it into the void will free up A LOT of space and help more evenly distribute the loot and also have more space available for future updates and future prime weapons and frames.
 
So, it is my hope that at least one of these ideas make it into the game. Like'em? Hate'em? Tell me why. Upvote if you like!

2. not a bad idea honestly, though i doubt anything like it will ever come to be.

4. not a new suggestion, but its not a bad one... the only thing that would need to be a thing for it is the ability to turn it off if you want.

5. at one point i would have said that warframe is too serious of a game to do that, but then im reminded of the fact that we had a candy cane skin... so why not?

6. again, not a bad idea.

6e. this i have a problem with.

 

a kick function sounds nice and all, and im sure it would sometimes come in really handy.

however, the sad truth is that it would be horribly abused by the wrong people... the very same people that most others would be trying to kick.

Well, just about anything has the possibility for abuse but we all know EXACTLY the kind of person you would use this on and while it would have the possiblity to be abused, the overwhelming majority of warframe players I've meet are pretty chill people and players. I myself MIGHT use it like once or twice a week, if that. But still a nice thing to have when someone is just being offensive in chat, not wanting to cooperate with team, etc etc.

the reality of a kick system is not as rose colored as people hope.

trolls and general miscreants usually roam in groups... that or they seem to spawn more of them everywhere they go, infecting others with their bile.

 

this is how things would look for the most part:

"hey guys, im new to the game"

*you have been kicked from game*

 

"oh hey, that last part of that gun/frame that i have been farming for ages to get, woot"

*you have been kicked from game*

 

"please stay closer to the pod so that the loot is near by and we can share the xp"

*you have been kicked from game*

 

"xXx_pro_sniper_xXx has joined the game"

*xXx_pro_sniper_xXx has been kicked from game*

 

"man i tell ya, i love playing my stomp build rhino"

*you have been kicked from game*

 

"dont worry guys, i got this, im playing nova"

*you have been kicked from game*

 

"is that guy afk?"

"yeah, i think he is... wanna kick him?"

"sure"

*i_afk has been kicked from game*

 

"hey guys, ill be right back in a sec, gotta answer the door"

Please dont bump your thread shamelessly. Why not come up with more ideas and paste those as a new post instead of just Bumping. 

 

As for your ideas 

 

1. Is already sort of in the game but just not centralised on a room. A resource vault exists for any resource added to the dojo. Any-time a room is destroyed all the resources, including platinum for rushing, go into the vault for a new build. Players can build rooms/objects and then destroy them to provide resources into the vault. It could use a special room but a terminal like trading would also work well. However the current system is fine as sadly there is not enough to do in the dojo. It needs shooting/test galleries, More obstacle courses, Mastery test/re-test room. A foundry room, a mod room. ANYTHING more to add into the game a reason to idle in the dojo!

2.Yes. Bombards and Toxic ancients at high level can one shot our little friends. A crafted repair item would be good. 

3. I am not sure if you are aware but eventually the star chart will disappear and we will be getting personal space ships and the like to use. We then travel around the galaxy between "hubs" to do missions. So this room is not necessary.

4. Dojo needs more. Dojo battles have been talked about. 

5. I like the poker Idea but it would be a lot of effort to make work I think. Maybe not poker but a tenno themed game. Hey I would love a card game where you had to use resources to craft the Orokin powered cards. Like FF8/9 had a cool card game in them to brake up play.

6. cool but unneeded. For star chart you can just click what mission you want with Online selected.

2. A resource vault that we cannot access nor place items into as we see fit. Your statement has only helped my arguement as to how it was counter intuitive in the first place.

 

3.Was not aware of spaceships, still a cool idea however. It would make the dojo feel more of a home and like your clan actually matters/means something more then just a place to get research blueprints.

 

4. You do realize I'm talking about Void and Derelict missions right?
