Absurd End-Of-Mission Affinity

I just completed the Cypress alert for the Pulse Volt helmet. Now please take a look at the affinity gained for Boltor Prime:

 

 

The only players were my friend and I (my friend used Mag Prime). I spammed Absorb a bit but that was it. I was also using an affinity booster.

Did your friend shoot at your absorb much? There might be some incredible but unknown thing there that generates an unholy amount of exp. Will have to run nyx later on and see if anything similar can be replicated.

If you dont use any weapons i notice your affinity does sky rocket. and you get xp from their kills. but never seen it multiplied this high..

Same thing happened to me, I was leveling my hek and went from level 20 to 30 instantly and I was doing just a normal mission

He shot the bubble for 3 seconds (more or less) per cast. I play Nyx a lot but I had never seen anything like this.
