Excitebike-Style Racing Courses For Dojo

The title should pretty much say it all here, I'd be so hyped for some customizable race tracks that you can build in the dojo.

 

How would they work? You build the room first, of course, in one of multiple sizes depending on how large of a track you want, and once the room is built you can place features on the track in the same way as you place decorations in any other room. The race track, however, has its own unique set of decorations that can be placed, removed, moved, or resized any time you like. The room should have a toggle setting that allows you to switch weapon/power use on and off, as well, and a console within that allows you to declare races that will be tracked by the game. The one obstacle course we have isn't enough to fulfill the need for speed!

Awesome idea! Or maybe just customizable obstacle course, im sure they lots of plans for the future of the dojo so i guess we will wait and see :)

Seriously, if we're doing vehicles, they NEED to have it in the dojo first, so people can experiment with them. Darvo/Lotus bring it forward that the grineer have set up some speeder army on a hidden planet and are planning on using them to transport data/spies/etc to outrun the Tenno so the Tenno are given the opportunity to train before the Lotus can discover the location of the Speeder hide out.

 

The event would start with that blurb from the Lotus that Darvo has given her schematics for these bikes and you'll get the opportunity to test them in the dojo. They use the Frame's coloring and your primary weapon is hooked to the front on a swirvel so you can shoot and drive (secondary can't be used on the bikes) and Melee will attempt to "ram the bike" in the direction of your choosing.

 

LARGE Circular track with obstacles similar to the current track, with the race timing. 

 

Event lasts for a week, after 4 days Dev stream releasing information about newest update and then Darvo comes on at the end in a panic that he's found the location and you have got to hurry! they're using the bikes to transport a new experimental weapon to soldiers across the galaxy in an attempt to control everything!

 

New solar map revealing the enemy hideout with massive maps that can only be played on with Excitebikes. Race (go through a track while racing after an informant, destroy their bike and escape), Hunt (Kill all enemies in the area and escape), Capture (Go to several checkpoints, get off your bike, clear them out, and upload data using a data pack on the back of your back, and escape), and Assassinate (Hunt your way to the boss tile, then basically go around the boss dodging his dangerous attacks while shooting him, kill boss and escape).

 

Tenno bikes are long, wide, and short, similar to the Bat Bike from the latest Batman movies.
Grineer bikes are a lot shorter with "training wheels" that hold small cannons (which are similar to the Ogris, but fire in a 2-burst and don't chase), and are fairly tall with a large wind-shield.

No worries, it's a simple jump in logic to make, but yeah, I'm talking about a course for foot-races, with customizable parkour blocks.
