Segolia Posted March 19, 2014 Share Posted March 19, 2014 Recently I decided to blow the dust of my trusty lanka and give it a whirl after damage 2.0. To my surprise, the normal over-the-shoulder zoom seems to have been replaced by some kind of scope overlay. While some may like the new scope, I personally found it's almost single-handedly ruined sniper weapons for me, especially the lanka - to put it briefly it feels like somebody just slapped a giant telescope on my weapon. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way either. My suggestion is simple - add an option to toggle between the scope overlay and the regular over-the-shoulder zoom that sniper weapons used to have. It wouldn't even have to be something that can be toggled while playing - just a checkbox in an options menu somewhere. Why not give players the ability to choose which they prefer?
