Weird Warping - Game Picks Me Up And Dumps Me Somewhere Else

Just started play Warframe today, I'm in the early parts of the Saturn system and keep having this weird issue where, for no reason I can decern, I'm picked up out of thin area and dropped into a different part of the level- usually among a group of enemies, which usually kills me.

Is this intentional, is this a game mechanic, like the enemies have some ability to grab me, or is something fishy going on?

If it is a mechanic, who's doing it and how can I protect myself because clearly I'm quite vulernable when it happens.

That will likely be the grineer commanders. they can switch-teleport players, similar to what loki can do with enemies.

There is actually nothing you can do against it. As soon as a commander sees you he does it.

But if you're teleported into the middle of an army of grineer then you can use your own abilities to counter-act his. So if you're a Mag and he switches you into a horde of grineer then you can just use Crush and kill everyone there.
