Stance slots don't work, they just say that they're reserved for stance mods, even if you try to put a stance mod on them. You can put them on a normal slot and they work, but every now and then I see that doing that messes up the points for the weapon and it deosn't let you install other mods even if you have the points to do so OR it does let you install them but only on certain slots and not others.
