I Can't Figure Out Channeling

How does channeling work? I can't seem to figure it out. What buttons do I push in what order? Do I need to hold something? I'm playing on a PC using a keyboard+mouse.

You need to have your melee held. (So hold the weapon swap button down for a while)

Then you use left mouse button to channel and you hold that down.

Then while its held down, you press e to hit with it.

when u equip ur melee(which is Holding F), your Left Mouse Click becomes ur Channeling. This is now what we used to call Charge attacks. Channeling drains from your energy pool as well so be cautious. You can either hold your left mouse button all the time or time it with your combos. Its all up to you on how you use it. Though Channeling gives your sword some oomph be wary of using it too much because you might not have enough to use your own warframe powers.
