Cybernetix
I run whatever melee I feel like on my volt, modded for a combination of power duration, power strength and stamina. Activate speed and become death.
Buddhakingpen
Looks like a fun build there. If maybe a bit of overkill lol all that efficiency and duration and still he has flow with rage lol I think if he took off flow and streamline and added in maybe a quick rest and sprint mod or shield mod, he'd be better off and it would speed up his gameplay without losing much. ZWarhammer
Testing it pretty heavily right now, all the regular enemies seem to melt when using a well modded melee weapon but they seem to be really ineffective vs bosses, especially bosses with invincibility timers. Side note, you still can't destroy lasers in Void using melee, making some areas more annoying than need be. The new Vey Hek boss and the flying boss on Pluto seem to be near impossible to beat using melee only same with Lephantis and some others. Using melee only on Phobos boss makes it harder to hit Krill's weak spot to do any damage making the fight last incredibly long. When it comes to combos only a select few are really useful in actual combat besides visual appeal and yet are not easy to pull off during lag or low frame rates which still occur quite often in survival and defense mostly. The combos could be explained better or shown a little tutorial video so we can understand what exactly they want us to do with each one. Heavy melee weapons that used to be gods before like galatine, orthos prime etc seem to have fallen off quite a bit both in usefulness and in meatiness of the combat. These heavy weapons don't feel heavy unless they are in the middle of a long combo and don't seem to be as useful as fast striking weapons duo to channeling having a better effect on multiple strikes rather than 1 damaging strike and since it's simply easier to chain stun enemies with swift weapons making you more survivable. I'll keep testing, even though it's pretty fun to melee now it certainly needs some tweaks. Edited April 12, 2014 by ZWarhammer
