PrimalMayhem Posted April 12, 2014 Share Posted April 12, 2014 So, in the time we've had with Melee 2.0 we've tried it, seen what works and what doesn't. Monos are one of those things they done half right half not. Half the combos in every stance mod we could already do before 2.0, this makes it feel like DE were just lazy (Not say you were, everyone know how hard animators and such worked and that U13 was delayed specifically for them. However another problem is that Combos with pauses are very awkward in 2.0, especially with weapons like the fang. Since the Reaload key isn't being used however I feel It would be waaaay better if you replace pauses with R. For example E E pause E E E would be replaced with E E R E E E. Noabettiet Posted April 12, 2014 Share Posted April 12, 2014 TL;DRMelee 2.0 brought combos, for which majority are what you could already do in Melee 1.0 : slide slash/ jump attack and etc. Those which are actuality new, require you do perform long and unrewarding combination of buttons, which usually are just highly impractical to do.
