In Order To Make A Dragon Key

It apparently costs 1 Void Key in the recipe. Is that like a Void Key that we use to start mission from the Void?

 

If so, can we use any key? I have about 30 T1 Captures that I have no use for. Can I use those? Or does it just randomly consume a key in the blue print?

 

I don't want it using my T3 Keys =c

You can use any key to make a Dragon Key

it asks you what key you want to use, and there doesn't seem to be a penalty for picking t1 over t3.
