I think the mutation mod is unneeded, I've never run out of ammo with my despair.

Blast is iffy against everything.

 

Swap ammo mut for elements to make a better combo. Then IMO swap Gunslinger for Bane, I'd take 30% more damage over 45% RoF any day. (45% RoF = only 35% sustained DPS)

 

Would also swap Stunning Speed for Quick Draw, status% is irrelevant. Or maybe more damage/shot, but I rather like having a reload mod in there.

One sec, too busy being bitter that I STILL haven't gotten Despair from a Stalker drop.

 

Okay, change Blast to Corrosive for Grineer/Infested/Corrupted Coid, and to Magnetic for Corpus/Shields. Otherwise, good. It's a shame the base crit/status are so low, especially compared with Stalker's other gear.

reload speed is .8

why would it need to be faster

Hmm, its been a while, but I think I remember it just feeling smoother.

 

But really you're right, no need for the reload mod, so more damage.

I would suggest rearranging the polarites for an easier time modding for Corups and Corrupted. Personally I'm a big fan of extra attack speed and that's what i use in my final mod spot but the correct Expel mod is going to do more for you dps or you can go with Ammo Mutation or I guess even reload speed. You are going to want more elements on your Despair though to max out the damage you're doing.

Eh, not really. MF is only +20.6% damage, a bane mod is much better, and adding elements usually is too.
