A Wish To Have A Feature Improved - Longer Text Field In "message Of The Day" Than The Current One

As said in the subject field.

 

(note this thread has nothing to do with the current bug in MOTD.)

 

I would like to suggest that the text field is allowed to have more text so you can can write more information to your clan members. Like it is now you can almost not add anything. it is a very limited field.

 

It would be good if you had the possibility to have room enough so you can add stuff like for example: clan rules codex, clanwebsite site, Facebook page, twitter, team speak server and and other useful information for your clan members.

 

Aslo if links in the message was click-able would help a lot too.

 

Maybe there could be a separate field for more static information and a more "dynamic field for daily updates.

 

Like it now has been for a very long time, you can almost not even add one of those things.

An information board of sorts would be nice.

 

For instance, if a clan decides to maybe reap the benefits of Dark Sector conflict battlepay.

 

So you could have this section under the clan tab where you can add notices.

 

ie. "Eclipse handing out 20k battlepay on X Dark Sector" or "We've come to an agreement with Ghost Bear to help keep their Venus rail standing."

 

An easy way to convey information to the clan. Instead of using external sites/communities.

Yes - exactly!

 

So the Clan tab in the top of the HUD, becomes some kind of information central hub where all the most basic/essential information is gathered  in on hub for the clan members. That would be a great service for the members of all clans. 

 

I just got an another idea related to this subject. Even more cool would be if that information there was relayed also to the digital screens in the observation deck.

 

But I'm very happy thou if the number of allowed character/symbols are increased from the current number to start off with.. :-)

Well, that just shows that I not the only one that wishes to have this changed, right?
