Fist Melee Weapons

Not adressing hand&fists here as I dont have experience with that weapon type.

 

Problems:

 

-Incredibly short range - miss quite a lot of attacks

-Almost non existent splash (see orthos prime, see dual swords, actually, see anything else)

-Combo radial attack radius is almost non existent

-Combo radial attack damage is a pure joke, maxed out fists deal around ~40 damage with the last combo attack, seriously?

-Fists cannot hit infested crawlers and enemies below waist line (other weapons can)

 

Are any of these problems compensated at all?

 

No.

 

-Fist damage is mediocre, mostly the same as every other melee weapons in the game. Id understand the INSANELY short range fists have if they would be really powerful against single targets.

-Id understand the good downattack damage (its good I guess? other weapons seemed similar) if the radial attacks and radial combo attacks had any range and knockdown.

 

But right now fists do not have any bonuses, at all, and are much more inferior to any other type of weapon in the entire game.

 

Suggestions:

 

-Increase fist weapon damage, crit chance/crit damage accordingly

-Increase the radius of the combo aoe attacks

-Fix the combo radial attack damage.

 

Thanks for reading, hopefully fists wont be so bad compared to other weapons soon.
