Innocent_Flower
So you're going to fill your warframe's eight slots and all your polarity points with powers, Mods that alter the efficiency/power/duration/strengh/range of powers and of course chunkyness mods like vitality, redirection, fast deflection iron skin, and maybe even vigor or fortitude. Most players wouldn't even give a thought to warm coat, intruder, equilibrium, parry, provoked, master thief, acrobat, antitoxin and many more. They're tempting, but it's obvious you need the mods from the first category more. So 95% of the time nobody uses those mods. These even extends to aura mods like speed holster and scavengers. There is some gray area. I mean vigor doesn't do much and I wouldn't know where the sprint speed mods go; But on the whole I think we need two different card tables. Each warframe card needs to be split into two catagories, A: The all important mods; Powers Power modifiers. Health/shield modifiers. Auras: damage, health/shield/energy boosts. Surprised there's no other power affecting auras, but if there were, they'd be here. B: The others Resistances. Possibly include vigor here. It isn't a resistance mod, but it's about as good as one. Deflection and autoguard. thieves wit/master thief Equilibrium maglev and acrobat provoked and undying will Heavy impact retribution shield flux Auras: scavengers, radars, speed holster Not sure about: Speed mods. Enemy weakenings (infested impertanence, corrosive projection, shield disruption)
AuroraSonicBoom
They said they don't want to segregate mods into essential and utility, which means that any mod slots they'll add will be used by players to become more powerful/faster/efficient instead of increasing gameplay variety. Basically, anything that has a direct effect on how fast you can complete content will always prevail over anything else. Speed should never be considered utility as that's all people would go for if given the chance.
holyicon
Speed Kills. It is a multiplier of every factor providing a direct advantage over each other kind of statistical bonus. Edited May 13, 2014 by holyicon
