Halfway Updated Server Problem

So we've all been encountering the problem with the server updating I'm sure, but does it automatically update the server if you use Revives? I was playing on a mission where I died and had to use one, but at the end of the mission the screen went black and I lost connection (even though I was alone) and I didn't get the mods dropped. On my Arsenal screen I've got 3/4 revives now but my items weren't updated. Is this just a UI glitch or is my revive actually gone? Thanks in advance.
