Quick Thinking Not Working Properly

I use quick thinking on my nova as it gives the largest boost in effective health but lately there has been times when ill die when my health hits 2 and it wont use any energy. it will act as if my maxed quick thinking is unranked and ill lose almost all my energy with one hit from almost any mob and also it never drains my energy to 0 the lowest it has drained to is about 30 energy and then i die
