I've recently started using this wonderful weapon and was considering two different builds.

 

Build A maximizes damage (spoiled strike, all the elments, all the damage mods) and with it, I would never enter stance mode. I would only use the massive leap slam attack to deal damage. 

 

Build B builds standard (includes fury) for a weaker leap slam, but allows me to use crushing ruin. 

 

Which one should I use?

If crushing ruin is the one with the "spin to win" combo, then use that. The slam will just rag doll the enemy's if it doesn't kill them, while hilarious can result in breaking the level your on. Besides at the end of the spin combo it dose your ground slam.

Alright, and should I use reach on the build if I'm going for spins?
